How can families apply for support?
Families can apply for services by completing our Service Application on our website. You can also reach out directly to our team at meakeal@saraifoundation.org or call 800-367-2332.
Do I have to have lost a child to qualify for services?
No. While our focus is on bereaved parents, we also support families whose children are critically ill, in the NICU, or facing complex diagnoses. Grief doesn’t only follow loss—it begins with uncertainty and fear. We are here for those families, too.
What is Gaucher Disease Type 2?
Gaucher Type 2 is a rare and fatal genetic disorder that affects infants. It is extremely aggressive and leads to severe neurological and respiratory issues. Part of our mission is to raise awareness and provide resources to families facing rare diagnoses like this.
How can I donate to support your mission?
You can donate securely through our website. Every dollar helps us provide direct support to grieving families, fund awareness campaigns, and create spaces of healing and remembrance.
Can I partner with the foundation?
Yes! We welcome partnerships with hospitals, NICUs, therapists, mental health providers, funeral homes, and community groups. Email partnerships@saraifoundation.org to explore how we can collaborate.
How can I volunteer?
Volunteers help us bring comfort and connection to families. Whether you help with events, care packages, outreach, or administrative support, your time is deeply valued. Visit our Volunteer Page to learn more and sign up.
Do you provide support outside of Davidson County?
Yes. While we are rooted in Davidson County, TN, we are expanding to reach more families across the U.S., especially through virtual support and mailed care packages.
